Tristar Elevator is a full-service elevator company. We are proud to be a locally owned and operated business based in Middle Tennessee. We provide service, maintenance, repair, modernization and new installations for commercial and residential elevator customers. We strive to provide the best customer service and lowest rates while also providing trained and qualified technicians. We are the only locally owned, woman owned, independent, full-service elevator company in the Middle Tennessee area. We have 45 years of experience working in the elevator industry on most equipment types. We are fully licensed and insured with the State of Tennessee and registered with the SBA as a WOSB.
Services
Maintenance Service and Repair
We provide service and repair to most types of elevators. Our service and maintenance plans ensure that your elevator remains up to date on state required maintenance and testing. It is important that a technician inspects your elevator equipment on a regular basis. Regular and preventative maintenance extends the longevity of your elevator.
New Installations
We provide new installation to accommodate most building types-commercial, residential, material lifts, dumbwaiters and stair-lifts. We coordinate with contractors and other trades to make job completion easier.
Modernization
We modernize existing equipment to meet current codes. We can also modernize to improve reliability and improve cosmetic appearance. Modernizing your elevator equipment keeps your elevator safer, increases your property value and can reduce power consumption. We install non-proprietary equipment, allowing the building owner the freedom to choose their maintenance provider.
Residential Elevators
We install a variety of home elevator products to accomodate all budgets and designs. We provide safety features such as light rays, to stop elevator movement during unsafe conditions, and solid gates.
Dumbwaiters
We install a variety of dumbwaiters for residential and commercial applications.
Freight/Material Lifts
We install, repair and modernize freight and material lifts.

About Us
We are the only locally owned, independent, full service elevator company in the Middle Tennessee area. We have 45 years of experience working in the elevator industry. We have years of hands on experience working in almost every aspect of the trade. Our experience lies in elevator construction- including project management and OSHA 500 certification, elevator service-including field engineering experience with Smart Rise, thyssenkrupp, Otis, Dover, and MCE equipment. We are based and centrally located in Columbia, Tennessee and are proud to serve the entire Middle Tennessee area.
